The long-awaited event of the year had finally arrived. Sports Meet! Whee* Too bad, we weren't in the house that we wanted to be in. Ended up in a 'loser' house. Sigh. Anyway, today's 4x400 was so great. The run seemed so easy and relaxing. Quite hard to believe right? And when we got 2nd, it's was like wow. I didn't really expect us to win but you know what? God was at work, haha.
It's funny how He works into the very little details of our lives. We don't really think about it and take it for granted but it's the grace of God. Haha, He's really amusing.
Delight in the purpose behind the joy. This weekend will be a great one for me, packed with activities. But what is the actual purpose? Keyboard training, webbers meeting, CG talk, mission interview, dance prac.. all these are meaningless if there is no purpose. What then, you might ask, is the purpose? Well..think about it..haha..
Exams are coming!! Ahh!! I have to put in a lot of effort this time round. I'm slacking, and I don't like the feeling of not being able to grasp the concepts properly. Sigh.. Study study study!!

I was doing my morning devotion and the verse of the day was Luke 1:37. It was so coincidental that today we were going out to 'practise'. Nothing is impossible with God. We have to trust Him to bring people to us, for us to talk to. Hmm..maybe this is the first time, so we didn't really get to talk in depth. But at least, we managed to invite them to church. After listening to what the others shared, it seems that my experience wasn't as exciting. But in any case, I learnt a few things and oh well, it'll slowly come along.
The first girl that Mashie and I met was Ziwei. Like in 'My Fair Princess'..Ziwei. Haha..ok. She was quite ok, responsive, but Mash said she was kind of erm, nervous? Well, we invited her for sunbeam. So..hopefully, she'll come down. Oh, then we talked to this smoker guy. And in the end asked him for directions to...the toystore. =.='''. Okay, we didn't reali get to talk to him. Outside Macs, we saw this little girl sitting by herself. So went up to her. She was really responsive and even asked us questions. However, we didn't talk for long as well. We were walking back from Fajar when we met this group of boys. Erm, asked for directions to Fajar shopping centre (that was seriously funny cos we came from there). They didn't want to tell us their names though. Talk about being mysterious. And the last lady we met was the most amazing one. She is actually our friend's friend's mum. Haha, so coincidental. So we talked to her as we walked back. Yup, invited her children to church too. Hmm..i wished there was more to it though. But, thank God! In all circumstances. Yup. It's better than nothing. Right?

This song kept coming back to me again and again. Sometimes, I really want something to happen immediately. But I know that now's not the time. Like kairos, it's God's time. He'll make all things good in His own timing. What's the point of banging your head around only to find out that a better plan awaits you, if only you are patient and will wait. There's always temptation that lurks around, stay away from it. Lord, keep me away from temptations! Grant me patience, Lord. Show me Your ways. I don't want to follow my own ways, because I know I'll probably go in the wrong direction. Ah, internal struggles again??
