Take a step outside your shell
To drink the secrets of the well
No longer will you fit inside
There's no more need to run and hide
It's easy now to be yourself
And set your fears upon a shelf
To close your eyes for just a thought
And reconsider all you're taught
Wishes made when you were young
Captured in the songs you sung
Freed your heart to laugh and play
Reminders of a former day
So now you look through open eyes
To ask the hows, the whens, the whys
To search the world to find your part
And free the dreams within your heart

Guess what? On the way home today, I noticed my earring sinking into the earlobe, because the earlobe was swollen. So I tried to take the earring out (btu it's still under a month after piercing) and I had to pry it apart. It was painful k, and it kept bleeding. I finally managed to get the earring out, after much blood and tissues and will power, and put in a earstick instead. It's not the first time that my earhole's bleeding. Sigh, hopefully, the hole will remain and it won't close up or get infected or bleed again or whatever. It's like, I pierced my right ear twice adn my left ear thrice already!! I don't think I want to go pierce again. The thing is, I don't have 5 earholes in total. I only have 2, one on each ear. The ones I pierced last time closed up. For some people who are wondering whether piercing on your old hole is painful? It's less painful than when you pierce on a 'clean' ear. Yup.
Matt messaged me this afternoon, asked if I can give my testimony this sat. Haha, I still have to think what I want to share. And give it to him by tomorrow. Yipes, it's so soon. It was supposed to be by today actually. Haha, inspiration, I need inspiration.

Ok, I'm updating now. The FOTSies went to Sentosa today. Haha, had a slight burn on my shoulder. Hoo hoo. We were slacking, and slacking, and slacked even more. Haha, played frisbee on the beach. ( how holiday-ish is that?) It was quite fun la.. The highlight of the whole day was probably the time at Sakae Sushi, where we pigged out for 3 hrs!!! 3 hrs ok. No easy feat. Ha, and I still think the guy took 50 cents more from me. Sigh, whatever.
School is re-opening in 6 days. Ask Jin Zhe for details of hrs, minutes and seconds. That guy bugged me with it. Have you guys finished your homework yet? I only have 1 set of emath, 1 ew, a few more qns of physics and amath, THE CHINESE BOOK and my ART STUDIES!!! Jin Zhe probably has finished everything. Hey Jin Zhe, you should be so honoured that your name appeared 3 times in my post!
Ah, I'm tired now, and I have to go to school tomorrow. For.. guess what? Dental appointment. Aha. And it probably takes 10 min. So I pay 40 cents + 35 cents + 45 cents + 40 cents = $1.60 for transport just to go to school for 10 minutes when I'm actually supposed to have a scheduled appointment with my private dentist every 6 mths, which is a free 5 minutes walk from my house. What is the world coming to? And if I don't go for the school one, they have to report to MOH.
Taking it in my stride. Yay, facing each new day, like it is a new day, cos it is a new day and it will be a new day. Oh, rubbishing already. Nites, everyone.

It's going to be a long journey ahead, I know it's not going to be an easy one but dependency and faith are very important. One must always remember that. Pray people! That's the key..

Ooh, I just love my new blogskin. It's has such a calming effect.
I revived my old reading passion. When I was in primary school, it was a weekly ritual to arrive before 11.30am at the library doors ar Jurong East, eagerly anticipating the opening of the library doors, walking into its cool interiors, feeling the rush of cold air blowing onto my face. Taking in the 'library' smell while a tingle of excitement rushes down my spine. I looked around in excitement, preying on the books that I wanted to grab hold of.
Ok, those were the days (as if they were so long ago). As I progressed further in education (which means when I entered secondary school, what else then?), I had less time to visit the library, what more the one in Jurong, because it's so far away. My English deproved and oh wells, my grades were'nt good. I used to note down new vocabulary words and useful phrases for composition. Not anymore. Cos I'm such a lazy bum bum. Hee.
Anyway, my point is, I can now read without being sleepy, just like in primary school. Haha, so I can absorb the literary styles the writers use. I can still remember that a while ago, I couldn't even get past the first few chapters of a book before the due date! Ah, things are different now.
And talking about things being different, they are. Not only reading but others as well. Like, the way I look at people, the way I carry myself, the attitude towards certain circumstances. Everything's still in the process of changing, similar to a tedious re-programming of a robot, not that I'm comparing myself to one, sorta degrading. The complexities of an inferior complexion are hard to grasp, just take it as a phase which will pass just as any other phase would. Oh, I'm going out of a point already, but it doesn't really matter does it?
There are so many things that we can analyse about. But who will? It takes a huge amount of effort (on my part) to use my brains- remember, I'm a lazy bum bum, but I realised that we cannot do without this expenditure of effort. (is there such a thing?) Anyway, coming back to my point, in this modern society, at this time and age, critical thinking is prioritised and is vital in our everyday living. From looking at people (I don't mean judge, I mean observe) to political matters, thought is given before one speaks. How? Through analysing of course. Ah, the entry is getting boring. Shall just stop here.
p.s. Did you know that when you clasp both hands together, one thumb is over the other? Ok, I think everyone knows that. If the left thumb is over the right thumb, it means you're analytical. If the right thumb's over the left thumb, it means you're creative. Wonder how true that is...
