WELCOME
Take a step outside your shell
To drink the secrets of the well
No longer will you fit inside
There's no more need to run and hide
It's easy now to be yourself
And set your fears upon a shelf
To close your eyes for just a thought
And reconsider all you're taught
Wishes made when you were young
Captured in the songs you sung
Freed your heart to laugh and play
Reminders of a former day
So now you look through open eyes
To ask the hows, the whens, the whys
To search the world to find your part
And free the dreams within your heart

Results were out today. Oh well, I thought I'd score badly. I didn't get to go up on stage, which was kinda "oh-well-ish"...... HAHA, but I did better than expected. It's really God's grace. It is. It's definitely not something which I can achieve based solely on my own strength. Seriously. So, I'm really thankful for my results. Not only is it way above my expectations (or below for that matter), it allows me to enter the school through results alone. I don't think I have to appeal!! Yippee. There are so many people whom I would love to thank..
Mr Tan and Mrs Chan: For SS consultations. Without them, I probably wouldn't know the difference between reliability and assertion. They really taught me how to think deeply and write my answer with relevance to the question. This skill is not only applicable in SS but even for GP now.
Mr Tom Chan: For believing me and supporting me the whole way. For always being there. So grateful for him. I still remember, when I was in his PE class in sec 1, he bothered to remember my name. That really left a lasting impression. Thanks Mr Chan!!
Mr Loh: Even though I didn't score well for physics (sc was never my thing), I'd still like to thank him for all the effort that he has put in. He's so passionate about physics man..
Ms Ong: Oh my my, she really opened my eyes to lit. She was so inspiring, the way that she crafted her answers showed depth and insight. Whoaa.. and from Bs and Cs in lower sec, I got As! All thanks to her.. And now I'm taking H1 lit. :) (i'm not taking h2 cos i have to read up on 5 bks.. no thks.)
The other teachers: For their effort, passion, patience, care and concern. I really do appreciate it. Without you, there's no me. (ooh, that's slightly cliched)
Yeah, BP rocks my socks.
To those who did well: Congrats! Keep up the great work! Don't slack ah.. I'm really proud of you guys.. So great!
To those who didn't meet their expectation: It isn't the end of everything. Try harder! Be positive. Don't give up just yet (don't even think of giving up), press on! Zai jie zai li. Don't let something like 'o's get to you. It shouldn't be your stumbling block, but a stepping stone. :)
To j2s in choir: Thanks for the support! You guys are really nice and I'm glad that I have the privilege to be among you and 'make music'. Hehe, yeah.. Yeah, and I like buddy buddy Colleen and Wan Ling. :)
